APPLICATION AND ADMISSION PROCESS
Thank you for your interest in Birmingham Theological Seminary. The following information is to help you in your application process.
The following credentials must be submitted to the Seminary Office (click here for an outline of the application process):
Application Form – Completed and signed.
- Master of Arts, Master of Divinity, or Certificate Program Application (pdf)
- Doctor of Ministry Application (pdf)
Transcripts – Official transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate institutions from which you graduated must be requested by the applicant, usually in writing, and sent directly to Birmingham Theological Seminary. No transcripts are required for students who desire to audit classes. To request your BTS transcript complete this form.
References – Birmingham Theological Seminary requires references from your (1) pastor; (2)an officer of your church; and (3) a business associate, friend, college professor or other individual. It would be helpful to your references if you would enclose an addressed, stamped envelope with your reference form to be returned by them to the Seminary Office.

Application Fee – A non-refundable application fee of $30 for the Masters and Certificate programs and $175 for the Doctoral program must accompany your application.
International Students – All of the required forms including proof of medical insurance must accompany the application.
