Department Overview

The Christian Education department prepares students for ministry in the church and for uniquely Christian educational work in a variety of learning environments.

Within an interactive learning community, students will strengthen their understanding of the theological and philosophical foundations of Christian education and develop their Christian philosophy of education.

They will engage with peers to learn creative biblically based teaching methodologies that differentiate their ministry. In addition, the Christian Education program offers the greatest number of electives, allowing the student to create a concentration in a particular area of study (e.g., History, Systematics, Public Theology, Biblical Counseling, etc.).
