Systematic Theology
Department Overview
Systematic Theology equips the student in the knowledge of the Word of God, the being of God, and how God reveals Himself as a triune and sovereign God.
This includes instruction on the significance of God’s creation of the heavens and the earth, humanity made in His own image, the fall of humanity into sin, and God’s unfolding revelation of His redemption of fallen humanity in Jesus Christ.
The student will also be instructed in the person and work of Christ, His atonement for the sin of His people, His death, His resurrection, His ascension, and His rule over all creation. Systematic Theology explains why the Church is important to Christ, and how the Church is to function in this world, with a clear view to the return of Christ, and the coming of His eternal Kingdom.
